Terms of Service
1.Scope and acceptance
1.1These terms are an agreement between you and Stage Resource LLC, which trades as Magnetics. "We" and "us" mean that company.
1.2These terms govern what you buy from us through this website, including equipment, installation, design work, the Support Plan and the Small Business package, and any residential work we quote you for.
1.3You accept these terms by agreeing to them at checkout when you place an order, or by accepting a quote from us that refers to them.
1.4Where we send you a written quote, that quote and these terms apply together.
1.5Where a written quote conflicts with these terms, the quote prevails for the work it covers.
1.6Where we sign a separate written agreement with you, such as a Managed Services Agreement or a builder agreement, that agreement governs the work it covers. Nothing in these terms varies it.
1.7These terms, with any quote or agreement named in this section, are the whole agreement for your order.
2.Prices and quotes
2.1Prices published on this website are for the item or package as configured on the page. They do not include sales tax, installation or a design fee, unless the page says they do.
2.2A published price may change. The price that applies to your order is the price published when you place it.
2.3Sales tax is added to your order, based on the address where the equipment is delivered or installed.
2.4Where our review of your order finds that your property needs different equipment from what your order covers, we will tell you before anything is configured or shipped. You may then accept the revised price or cancel the order for a full refund.
2.5A promotional code must be entered before you pay. We may decline or withdraw a code at any time and for any reason. Withdrawing a code does not change an order you have already paid for.
2.6Services from other providers that a system relies on, such as internet service, phone line subscriptions, cellular data plans or a manufacturer’s own subscriptions, are billed by those providers. They are not part of our prices and are not billed by us.
3.Payment
3.1An order placed on this website is paid in full at checkout, unless an agreement or invoice terms we give you say otherwise.
3.2The design fee is payable as your quote sets out.
3.3Installation, where you choose it, is paid at checkout at the fixed price shown in your cart, under §7.
3.4Support Plan billing is under §9.
3.5Any other charge under these terms, such as additional labor you agree to during an installation, is billed separately and is payable when billed.
4.Cancellation by you
4.1You may cancel an order within 48 hours of paying for it, from your account where it offers this, or by calling or emailing us. When you do:
- The equipment is refunded in full, except that any work we have already done configuring it for your property is charged.
- Any installation fee is refunded in full.
- Where your order started the Support Plan, its first month is refunded in full and the plan ends.
- Where the equipment has already shipped, you return it under §11, and it is refunded once it reaches us.
4.2After 48 hours, cancellation is at our discretion, and any return is dealt with under §11.
5.Refusal and cancellation by us
5.1We may decline an order, or any part of an order, at any stage of the work, where we are unable or unwilling to carry it out. When we do:
- Where nothing has shipped and nothing has been configured, we refund the amount paid in full, including any installation fee and the first month of any Support Plan, and the plan ends.
- Otherwise, equipment is refunded, but work already carried out, including configuring equipment for your property, is charged.
- Where equipment has already been delivered, you may keep it at the price paid or return it under §11.
6.Delivery
6.1Equipment is configured for your property before it ships.
6.2Equipment we ship may be new or open-box. Open-box equipment is free of physical defects, is tested for functionality before it ships, and carries a warranty at least as long as a new unit’s, from us under §11 where the manufacturer’s does not apply.
6.3Risk in the equipment passes to you on delivery.
6.4Where equipment is lost in transit or arrives damaged, and you tell us within 30 days of the date it was delivered or was due to arrive, we will replace it at no charge.
6.5We are not responsible for a delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including manufacturer shortages, carrier delays and severe weather. Where such a delay runs past 60 days, you may cancel the affected part of your order for a refund of what you paid for it.
6.6Where you install the system yourself, the installation is your responsibility, including but not limited to:
- Where each piece is sited and how it is mounted
- Connecting the equipment to our specification
- Any work to the building, and patching it afterward
- Any permit, code or inspection requirement that applies
7.Professional installation
7.1Professional Installation bought on this website is sold at a fixed price, shown in your cart and paid at checkout, and installation we quote you for is priced by the quote. It covers a standard installation of the equipment in your order in a typical home or small business premises with an accessible attic or crawlspace.
7.2Installation is carried out by independent installers we engage or by our own staff.
7.3We install on a best-effort basis. If the property needs more work than a standard installation, for example because of long cable runs, masonry walls or no attic or crawlspace access, we will tell you as soon as we become aware of it.
7.4Additional labor is $150 per hour and is done only if you agree to it. If you do not, we complete the rest of the installation without it.
7.5Installation is offered in Georgia only, and in some areas an installer may not be available. We will make reasonable efforts to find one for your address. If we cannot, we will tell you, and you may choose to:
- Set the system up yourself. You keep the equipment, and we refund the installation fee.
- Return the equipment under §11. We refund the installation fee and, where your order started the Support Plan, its first month, and the plan ends. The equipment is refunded once it reaches us, less a restocking fee of 25%. You arrange and pay for shipping it back to us.
7.6You choose your installation day once your equipment has shipped.
7.7You are responsible for providing access to the property on the scheduled day and for the property being ready for the work.
7.8You may reschedule an installation up to two times, each time at least 48 hours before the visit.
7.9If an installer is not available on a date you have booked, we will tell you, and you may choose another date at no charge. That change does not count toward your reschedules.
7.10You may cancel an installation for a full refund of its fee at any time before it is scheduled.
7.11Once an installation is scheduled, you may cancel it up to 48 hours before the visit for a refund of its fee less a scheduling charge of $50.
7.12If you cancel or reschedule a scheduled installation within 48 hours of the visit, or a visit cannot go ahead because the property is not ready or cannot be accessed, we may retain up to 50% of the installation price.
7.13To book a new date after a late reschedule, or after a visit that could not go ahead, you pay the amount we retain first. If you cancel the installation instead, we refund its fee less that amount.
7.14The installer photographs the installed equipment and the finished work, as a record and to check its quality. How we handle and use those photos is set out in our Privacy Policy.
8.Custom design work
8.1Custom design work begins with a consultation, after which we quote the design fee.
8.2The design fee is payment for the design, which is work performed. It is not a deposit and is not credited against the price of a system built from it.
8.3A system built from the design is priced separately and carries its own labor and setup charges.
8.4The design fee is not refundable.
8.5Once you have paid the design fee, you may use the design for your property, whether or not you buy the system from us.
9.Support Plan
9.1Every system bought and paid for at checkout on this website comes with the Support Plan, which starts with your order.
9.2A property has one plan. A later order for the same property does not start another, and any first month it charges is refunded.
9.3The Support Plan is charged per property per month, at the price shown when you order.
9.4We will email you at least 30 days before a change to the plan’s price takes effect, as §15.2 provides, and you may cancel before it does.
9.5The plan continues until you cancel it.
9.6The first month is charged with your order, and each month after that on the same date. The first month is refunded only where you cancel the order under §4.
9.7The card used for your order is held by Stripe for the monthly charges.
9.8If a monthly charge fails and is not paid, the plan ends.
9.9Support is provided on a best-effort basis, during the business hours published on our contact page.
9.10You can send us a request at any time, and we respond as promptly as we can, but response and resolution times are not guaranteed. Resolving a problem can take time, particularly where it depends on parts, the manufacturer or your internet provider.
9.11The Support Plan covers your equipment, not your alarm. It is not a central station and we do not dispatch police or fire. We support self-monitoring only.
9.12The plan does not cover, among other things:
- Custom work, such as connecting to another network or integrating third-party products or services
- Monitoring your cameras
- Equipment we did not supply
- Your internet service itself
- The cost of replacement hardware
- Anything that requires a visit to the property
- Unlawful activity
9.13Where we set a control up for you under the plan, day-to-day use of that control is your responsibility.
9.14We work at the network end and will give general guidance on connecting a device. Support for the device itself is a matter for its manufacturer.
9.15We will show you how to search, collect and export footage. We do not carry out those tasks on your behalf.
9.16Equipment you buy from another vendor will not be added to your system.
9.17Problems arising from equipment you add yourself are not covered.
9.18The plan is priced for ordinary use: household use of a home system, or the use a business system was sold for. If your use goes well beyond that, we may offer you different pricing and terms, or cancel the plan, and we will tell you before we do.
9.19You may cancel the plan from your account, or by calling or emailing us. Within a fixed term under §10, you cancel by calling or emailing us.
9.20When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for, and is not charged again, except for the rest of a fixed term under §10.
9.21When the plan ends, we make sure you have full control of your network and the owner’s access to your camera console, where you do not already, and remove our access. You are required to take part in that handover.
9.22If you do not take part in the handover, we may remove our access without it. Regaining access to the equipment may then require a manual reset, which may clear its configuration.
9.23Where the plan ends and you later restart it, a reactivation fee of $100 applies, unless you restart it within 30 days of the day it ended. That exception applies once in any 12 months.
9.24Where a system has been without the plan for a year or more, we may decline to start it again.
10.Small Business package
10.1The Small Business package is a system for a business, sold through this website with installation and the Business Support Plan included. It is sold on its own, and cannot be combined in one order with any other system.
10.2The package is intended for small business environments. It is a fixed set of equipment, and it is your responsibility to decide, before you order, whether that equipment suits your business.
10.3Installation is part of the package and cannot be removed from it. §7 applies to it, except that its price is included in the package price.
10.4The Business Support Plan starts with your order and is charged per month at the price shown when you order, for a term of 12 months from the day it starts.
10.5You may end the plan before its term ends by calling or emailing us. The monthly charges for the rest of the term then become due when you end it.
10.6After the term, the plan continues month to month until you cancel it.
10.7The Business Support Plan covers the system at your business premises. In every other respect, §9 applies to it as it does to the Support Plan.
11.Warranty and returns
11.1Equipment carries the warranty given by its manufacturer, whether or not a Support Plan is running. A claim under it is made:
- By us, while a Support Plan is running. We also configure the replacement before it reaches you.
- By you, directly with the manufacturer, where no Support Plan is running.
11.2Where we give a warranty of our own on a device, in place of or in addition to its manufacturer’s, it is a limited warranty. For the length we tell you, which is shown with the device in your account, we will repair or replace the device at no charge if it fails in ordinary use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accident, a power surge, or changes made by anyone other than us. To make a claim, contact us.
11.3Where we install the system, our workmanship is warranted for one year from completion. For a new home we install for its builder, that period starts when the home is sold to its first buyer, and passes to that buyer.
11.4Equipment that arrives faulty, or is not what you ordered, is replaced at no charge.
11.5After the period in §4, a return is accepted at our discretion.
11.6A return accepted under §11.5 carries a restocking fee of 25% of the amount you paid for the returned items if they are unused and complete, or up to 50% if they have been installed or used. Configuration we carry out before shipping does not count as use. No restocking fee applies to a return under §4 or §5.
11.7On a return under these terms, you are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping it back to us, except where we shipped the wrong item or one that arrived faulty, or where we canceled the order under §5, in which case we pay for it.
11.8Equipment that reaches us damaged or incomplete, or does not reach us, is not refunded. Where we have already refunded it, we charge you for it at the price you paid.
12.Your use of the system
12.1You operate the system. You are responsible for your use of it and for the use made of it by anyone to whom you give access.
12.2You are responsible for everything that passes over your network. Except where traffic inspection is turned on at your request or under your agreement, we do not monitor or inspect your traffic, and unlawful use of the connection is your liability.
12.3You are responsible for your cameras, including but not limited to:
- Where a camera can see and what it records
- Whether it captures audio
- Any notice or consent the law requires you to give or obtain
12.4Recording, notice and consent laws differ from state to state, and complying with them is your responsibility.
12.5You will not use the system to harass a person, to record where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy, or otherwise in breach of the law.
12.6We will not install cameras inside a home that someone else rents or stays in, even if a rental or booking site allows it.
12.7We will not build a system we believe is unlawful.
12.8You will indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from your use of the system or from your breach of this section, including a claim that a recording, a monitoring activity or a use of your network breached the law or another person’s rights.
12.9That indemnity covers reasonable legal costs and any award or settlement. It does not extend to a claim arising from our own negligence or willful misconduct.
12.10We will tell you about a claim we intend to rely on this section for, and you may take part in the defense. We keep control of our own defense.
12.11This section continues to apply after your order is complete and after any Support Plan ends.
13.Liability
Except for the express warranties stated in these terms, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Where an implied warranty cannot be disclaimed, it is limited to one year from delivery, or to the length of any written warranty we give on the product, if that is longer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost footage, or loss of or damage to property, arising from the system or from these terms, even if we were told that such loss was possible. This does not apply to physical damage to your property caused by our negligence while we are carrying out work there.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service the claim relates to.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Some states do not allow some of these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13.1Equipment records, alerts and deters, but we do not guarantee that it will prevent loss, damage or intrusion. A system is not insurance and is not a substitute for it.
13.2Self-monitoring depends on services we do not provide. Your power, your internet service, your mobile device and the manufacturer’s application must each be working for an alert to reach you, and we are not liable for an alert that does not arrive because one of them is not.
13.3Keeping the system operational is your responsibility, including but not limited to:
- Power and internet service to the equipment
- Batteries in sensors and other powered devices
- The application installed, with notifications enabled
- Console credentials held only by the people you intend
13.4Where you chose the equipment yourself, we are not responsible for any area or need it does not cover.
13.5We are not liable for anything following from equipment moved, settings changed or additions made to the system after we hand it over, whether by you or by anyone else.
13.6Footage records to equipment at your property and we do not keep a copy. Once it has been overwritten on your console, we cannot recover it.
13.7We are responsible for our own work: the system we supplied, how we configured it, and the installation we arranged.
14.Calls to us
14.1A call to us may be answered by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence, before or instead of a member of our staff. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
14.2An automated assistant can give general information, take a message and make changes to your account that you ask it to make. A change you ask it to make is treated as your own request.
14.3Nothing an automated assistant says changes these terms, your order or a quote from us. Where it gives a price, a date or an answer about a policy, these terms, your order and our written quote are what apply.
15.Changes to these terms
15.1The version of these terms published when you place an order is the version that applies to it.
15.2Where you hold a Support Plan, we will email you at least 30 days before a material change to these terms, including a change to its price, takes effect for the plan. You may cancel before it does.
15.3The current version was last changed on 2026-10-11.
16.Governing law and disputes
16.1These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
16.2We sell, ship and install only in the United States, and we do not accept orders from outside it.
16.3A dispute under these terms is heard in the state or federal courts serving Paulding County, Georgia.
16.4Each of us submits to the jurisdiction of those courts and waives any objection to venue in them, including any objection that the forum is inconvenient.
16.5Either of us may still bring a claim in magistrate court where it qualifies.
16.6If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
